Making your own furniture using our Iconic Joinery can be accomplished with two somewhat primitive yet precise hand tools; the handsaw and hand drill (aka wood brace) pictured below center top. You can of course use any tools you have. If you do not have tools, ask friends and relatives who may have these tool you could barrow. Perhaps even ask them for help. The illustration below reflects the low end costs for hand tools and some materials today.
