The illustration above shows the layout and placement of 16 holes. If you decided to do this with a hand drill, manual or electric it's best to drill half way from both sides. This will help achieve straighter holes. Any irregularities can be cleaned away with a 1/4 and or 3/8" round file or rasp. Patience and sharp tools makes the work easier, safer and better.

A time saving marking template is included in the Maker Kit to mark the position of holes and or verify marks before being to drill.
